Let’s Visit… Camel Creek

Camel Creek is a fantastic family day out, which will keep kids entertained all day long come rain or shine!

It has so much to do, that if you would like to return again during your holiday, they have a £3 return any day in 14 days ticket. This is fabulous for when the kids having fun in one spot, as you don’t feel like you have to rush them along. There’s indoor play, outdoor play, rides for tots and older children, as well as animals, and food outlets.

Getting there

Camel Creek is on the way to Wadebridge and is about a 20-minute drive from Hendra. You will need a car to get to Camel Creek. There’s ample parking. Postcode is PL27 7RA

The Adventure Park is perfect for toddlers right up to 12/13 year old’s and they continue developing different rides to attract older kids too – so keep checking their website.  The clown coaster is a super fun ride, with lots of laughs guaranteed as you bump around. Little ones will love the water rush, bouncing along the steam before making a splash into the water at the end of your adventure!

There is lots to enjoy for toddlers and last year we added Airbender (the biggest rollercoaster  the park has had so far), Mawgawr (a Dragon Coaster), Cornwall’s ONLY 5D Cinema, Pirate Ship, Log Flume and more…

Events

All of your small children’s favourite TV characters love to come to Camel Creek! You can meet them in the school holidays. In April there’s Hey Duggee and Poppy and Branch from the Trolls. Dinosaur fans will certainly enjoy the roarsome Dinosaur week in May half-term – get up close and personal with these fearsome creatures and find all of the Dinosaur facts scattered around the Park.

In the summer holidays meet Bob and Kevin from the Minions, Paw Patrol’s Chase and Marshall, the one and only Peppa Pig, with her little brother George, and Sonic the hedgehog!

In October half-term make sure you visit as there’s Halloweek. A week packed with the spookiest, and scariest of fun, with a ghastly ghost train, witch’s creek, house of horror, bug ball, and lots more frightful fun. It wouldn’t be Halloween without pumpkin carving, so there are pumpkins for everyone! You also get the chance to meet the monster minions.

You could spend all day in here alone! The kids won’t want to leave Creeky’s Playhouse, which is all the reason to come back with your 14 day pass! Here, you can grab some food too, with burgers, chips, sandwiches, and cakes and snacks available – the food is fun too!
The kids will love the huge slides, demon drop, ball pools and with huge areas of places to climb, run, and take a tumble – let those little ones go wild!

Animals

There are animals to visit at Camel Creek too, with birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a large snake, and visit the crocodile world. There’s certainly something for everyone here!

Food

Visit Creeky’s Playhouse for Creeky’s Burger Co. Here you will find adult and kids burger meals, freshly cooked to order, with children’s menus and gluten free options.

Dina’s Snack Shack is a great place for a pit stop for when you have a sugar dip, with ice creams, waffles and drinks available.

The Ice Cream Parlour has a selection of flavours to suit everyone’s tastes, along with every chocoholics favourite spot: Swampy’s Chocolate Factory, a welcome new addition! There’s a huge selection of mouth-watering treats here, to satisfy those sugar cravings.
