Here in Cornwall, you’ll never be too far away from one of our breath-taking beaches.

Whether you’re looking for soft sand, the perfect wave, a beach café or stunning views we can guarantee you’ll find what you’re looking for in Cornwall! But with so many to choose from, which ones should you visit? Here are some of our favourites nearby and a little further afield…

Fistral Beach

Newquay’s world famous surfing beach which is regularly home to huge waves that reach heights of 6-8 feet. With lots of other facilities such as cafes, takeaways and shops this beach is great fun for the whole family.

Little Fistral

This beach sits just north of Fistral beach. Here the waves can be huge and fantastic to watch but it’s not as popular with the surfers due to the area being quite rocky (which makes the beach great for rock pooling!)

Harbour Beach

This beach’s sheltered shallow waters and close proximity to Newquay town centre make it popular with families. In the summer the harbour is busy with fishing boats which draws in the occasional seal looking for leftovers.

Towan Beach

The most central of Newquay’s beaches, Towan beach is sheltered by Towan head creating smaller waves, perfect for novice surfers or swimmers. Behind the beach you can find lots of facilities, including Blue Reef Aquarium and SSS Surf School.

Lusty Glaze

On the sandy Lusty Glaze you can find an adventure centre with activities such as abseiling, surfing, bungee jumping and climbing. Accessibility to the beach is difficult due to a steep path down but it’s still popular with families.

Porth Beach

Porth beach is popular with families due to its large expanse of sand making it perfect for sandcastle building and beach games. There are plenty of rockpools to discover some sea life and several pubs and cafes to keep bellies full.

Feel like an adventure? If you’re venturing out for the day why not check out some more of Cornwall’s other stunning beaches away from the Newquay area. Here’s just a few of our favourites!

Perranporth

A typical seaside village filled with pubs, cafes and shops. At low tide Perranporth beach reaches two miles long with good surf and at high tide it features a natural open air swimming pool which filled with sea water. It’s a pretty impressive place!

Polzeath

This award-winning beach is easily accessible with plenty of facilities nearby. It is home to long slow breaking waves which attract both novice and professional surfers. It was one of only eight beaches in Cornwall to be awarded the blue flag award in 2017.

Gorran Haven

A gorgeous sandy beach in front of the character filled village. It is very popular with families, surfers and kayakers. There is a beach shop, car park, pub and toilets all within walking distance of the beach which is also dog friendly.

Kynance Cove

Regarded as one of the best beaches in the UK, Kynance is quite a drive from our holiday park (but we think it’s defiantly worth it! Kynance cove is straight out of a fairy tale with its deep blue waters, white sand and serpentine rocks it’s easy to see why it is the most photographed location in Cornwall.
