On-park food & drink

You don’t have to venture far from your caravan holiday home, or  pitch to find lots of great places for food & drink! We’ve got  four different places on park where you can grab get breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or a piece of cake washed down with a cup of tea or coffee… take a look at our choices below. In peak-season we have different pop-up stalls for food.

Always Sundae!

It’s Always Sundae, when on holiday at Hendra! NEW for 2024 we have our delicious ice cream shop. Serving creamy and organic Cornish Ice Cream, from Roskilly’s Farm, just down the road from Hendra.

Here you can choose from a variety of scrumptious flavours, from traditional, to something a bit more adventurous! You can have your treat in a tub or cone, and, of course, you can also opt for the ultimate treat: an ice cream sundae!

Open from 9am daily, you can also purchase your morning cup of coffee here too and enjoy being at the centre of the park, in our newest venue on the site.

The Terrace Bar and Restaurant

The Terrace Bar and Restaurant was completely refurbished last year  in 2023.

For breakfast there is a range of of options to suit all tastes, dietary requirements and appetites. There’s full English’s available in two different sizes, as well as Vegetarian and Vegan options. There’s a Pancake stack, and for smaller appetites there’s lighter options, such as breakfast baps, and cereal too.

There’s a selection of lunch options, salads, wraps and burgers to choose from. At dinner choose from chicken curry, sea bass, pork and mash, burgers, lasagne, and range of pub classics, all on the 2024 new menu. There’s also our kid’s menu.

Still hungry? Try a dessert, with our favourite being the Waffle Stack, with Biscoff and chocolate. Divine!

 

Mario's Pizzeria

Eat in or takeaway as the mouth-watering Mario’s Pizzeria. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to toppings, from Margarita and meat options as well as something for all, there’s also Vegetarian and Vegan options.

You can even eat outside in the Deck Bar (entertainment on in peak times) or on the picnic tables outside near the children’s play area.

Where ever you decide to enjoy your food,  Mario’s delicious pizzas are a must.

Fish and Chip Takeaway

There’s nothing like fish and chips, especially on a seaside holiday! Visit Hendra’s very own award-winning Fish and Chip takeaway. Located next to Mario’s, it shares the sheltered terrace outside for ‘al fresco’ dining.

The Pool Shack

Located at the Oasis, The Pool Shack is available during the summer weeks at the outdoor pool for snacks and drinks.

The Market Place

The Market Place is open daily, stocking a wide range of holiday essentials, including freshly baked bread, savouries, pastries, tinned food, milk, eggs, tea, coffee, toiletries, toys, souvenirs and a range of your favourite drinks from the likes of St Austell Brewery and Tarquin’s. Stock up on a range of Cornish food and drink to enjoy while you’re here or to take home!

Newquay Town

While you’re out and about exploring Cornwall, there’s plenty of places to eat and drink! Whether you’re in the mood for gourmet meals, fresh seafood, your favourite takeaways, family pub food, or coffee and cake, there’s something for everyone in Newquay town! Wander the high street and try a pasty, or a tasty lunch in one of the many pubs and restaurants with flavours from around the world! Grab a takeaway coffee and a snack and head to one of the many local beaches for a relaxing afternoon. Or maybe you’ll stop by Prow Park (opposite Lidl) on the way out of Hendra for a takeaway breakfast, lunch or dinner to take with you on your adventure!

If you don’t want to drive, you can get into Newquay town via the bus stop right outside of Hendra, the Land train (departing Hendra at 9am) or walking (directions available at Reception).
