Here is how to plan your holiday in Cornwall with a toddler.
Picking your toddler friendly accommodation
If you have the right base, then everything else will come together and Cornwall with a toddler will be easy. Hendra has so many options for self-catering accommodation, whatever your tastes or budget. Choose from a budget holiday home caravan, a classic home, or try one of our premium holiday homes, for a luxurious stay. We also have our Meadow Lodges, for a special stay with us. In September, and during off-peak holiday times, luxury becomes more affordable. Each home has everything you need on your family holiday Cornwall, with living and dining space, a fully equipped kitchen and everything that you need to make a holiday with a toddler easy.
We also have a selection of pitches for tents, touring caravans, and motorhomes, with toilet and shower blocks close by to each pitch. Hendra also has a selection of pitches from hard-standing and fully-serviced, to grass electric.
However you choose to stay at Hendra Holiday Park, we will make sure that you have everything that you need.
Facilities that will make your toddler holiday easy
Hendra Holiday Park is full of excellent indoor toddler activities in Cornwall that little ones will love. Happy tots mean happy adults! We have Henry’s Playloft, for soft play which is perfect for younger children, all included in your stay. Adults can watch and get a coffee.
We also have the excellent, brand new for 2026, NQY Rocks Activity Centre. NQY Rocks has 17 clip ‘n go climbing walls, which are suitable for 4+. Don’t worry though, little ones can try our ‘little climbers’ sessions for ages 2-4 years, bookable online! NQY Rocks also has a four-level soft play, with a dedicated toddler area for ages 0-4 years, so that they can play safely. This new space has a baby changing and feeding room with an interactive play wall for toddlers to keep them entertained whilst you feed and change your baby. As well as a coffee shop, offering a range of tasty bites, barista coffee, and delicious cakes and bakes.
Under 3s are free in the Oasis Fun Pools, making it the perfect place for toddler swimming. There is a toddler and baby pool, with a slide for under fives, plus our friendly frog and cute crab. Our green slide is suitable for toddlers riding on an adult’s lap, so they can enjoy a big flume too.
Outside we have a play area for under 5s, plus you will find our new-for-2026 swings and Joey the jeep by the Reception area.
Fun facilities aside, there’s also the equally important practical things, like our launderette and onsite shop for all baby and toddler essentials.
