AA Platinum Award

In 2024 we have been awarded the prestigious AA Platinum Five Star rating, alongside a Five Star rating and Gold Award from Visit England!
This award truly reflects the hard work and dedication of our fantastic team at Hendra, who go the extra mile every day to keep the park running smoothly and ensure a great experience for our guests. We couldn’t be prouder!

Visit England Winners for the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park Category

In 2023 we were Visit England Winners in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year category, winning a Bronze Award. We also won a Gold Award for the South West Tourism’s Holiday Park of the Year. This builds  upon our Gold in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for Holiday Park of the Year. At the Cornwall Tourism Awards our Park Manager, Chris, got the Silver for Unsung Hero Award for all of his hard work and dedication. Hendra also scooped the Winner Of Winners Award too.
In November 2023 we won the Hoseasons Diamond Award for Family Fun Park.

• AA PLATINUM ‘elite park’ 5 Pennant rating

 

Sustainability Awards

We have cut our carbon emissions by 60%, thanks to our SunPower Meadow solar farm, fresh water spring and biomass boilers heating our pools.

Our commitment to renewable energy won us the Gold Award for Sustainable Tourism at the 2016/17 Cornwall Tourism Awards. The Park also won the ‘Winner of Winners’ award at the Cornwall Sustainability Awards in 2011.

South West in Bloom Winners, 2023.

We take pride in our gardens and colourful floral displays, which attract local wildlife.  It is a great achievement for the Grounds Team to be recognised for all of their hard work.

Bling for our Blooms!

In 2023, we were awarded with the Bruford Cup for the best non-municipal display in the Southwest.

Then in 2022 we were awarded Amberol Trophy for the Best Business Floral display by South West in Bloom!

Hendra has also received a GOLD Sustainable Business Award for their commitment to operating a green business. We currently hold a TripAdvisor PLATINUM Greenleaders award.

Over 50 Years of Fabulous Holidays!

In 2022, Hendra celebrated 50 years of offering fantastic Cornish holidays to over 3 million happy guests!  We’ve come a long way since 1972 when the park was opened by the same family who still run it today.
