New Happenings
On Park…
Even though we are closed, we have been very busy this winter making improvements for 2020. You may have seen on Facebook and Instagram, that we have the new Godrevy caravans now all sited on the Park; these can be booked online. We have also replaced some of our fleet with the Mawgans. There has been a total of 78 new vans on Park – a record number of new caravans! The whole fleet will be refurbished. Our caravans are now an average age of 2.35 years old!
We have also started renovations to the Terrace Bar and Restaurant. We are extending the arcade area and there will be more seating in the Terrace Bar. There will be a new window to make the Terrace have a lighter feel. We hope that you like it and we will share photos soon!
Online and on paper…
We have been working on this fabulous new website, which we hope you love as much as we do. We wanted it to be easier to use, especially on your mobile. The video on the homepage is making us miss the summer and we hope it brings back some great memories of your last stay. We are redesigning the Hendra Welcome Book for 2020 and are making it into a Welcome magazine, with lots of top tips, features, and fun for staying at Hendra, Newquay and Cornwall. We will be working with some fantastic Cornish attractions who will be featured in the Welcome magazine and putting discount vouchers in the Welcome magazine, including: The Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of the most famous gardens in Cornwall, great for explorers of all ages, Hangloose at Eden, great for thrill seekers with a skywire zipline, along with super fun Flambards, Cornwall’s theme park with rides for all big and small.
Christmas Card

We will be sending out our Christmas card to you digitally or in the post. It was designed by Hendra guest, Morgan aged 11. Henry and Henrietta absolutely love it! We hope that you love it too.
We will be running the competition again next year. If you fancy sending us a Christmas card design please send your entries by emailing us at christmas@hendra-holidays.com. The competition is for children under 12, and must have a Hendra theme – could you draw the Hendra Safari Train in a Christmas setting? Or, our Hippos skating on the iced over outdoor pool ?! A Time for Giving 
Each Christmas we like to give something back. This Christmas we have donated £1000 to Newquay Food Bank.
Steph, the Secretary of Newquay Food Bank, said: “We cannot thank you enough for your continued support of the Newquay Foodbank. Your donation of £1000 will really help us to continue to support the community this Christmas.
“To give you an idea of the impact of your donation, at the last check a family box contained food to the value of approx £45, so with this donation you have supported over 22 families (worked out at 2 adults and 2 Children) for up to 3 days of food each. “
Each year we have a designated charity which we raise money for. This year we have raised £13,120 for the Alzheimer’s Society. This is all thanks to you, as you have donated money on booking, charity raffles and by donating money around the Park. Each year we try to choose a charity which has a connection with one of our team. We will have a new charity for 2020, which will be announced soon.
Early Booking Offers
Look out for our new-look brochure in the post, with new photos. We hope that it will make you want to come back again, especially with the special offers for 2020. Guests that stayed with us in 2018 and 2019 will be able to get exclusive booking offers for the next season, if you book by February the 9th 2020. You will receive these offers just after Christmas.
Making memories for Christmas
Lots of the staff take a well-earned break and will come back refreshed for 2020 to welcome you all next year.
