Oasis Fun Pools

The Oasis Indoor Fun Pools is one of the largest indoor fun pools in the South West, with 3 flumes, including the gentle green one, the rubber ring blue, and the rapid red tube! Also indoors there’s a baby and toddler pool, and a toddler slide, as well a geyser and giant tap!

Oasis Fun Pools Outdoor Pool

Our beautiful, heated, outside pool is open from the end of May until the end of August. With sun loungers, a snack shack (open on selected dates), and amazing pools to cool off in the Cornish sun, our Oasis Outdoor Pools are the perfect way to spend an idle holiday day. It is fully life guarded too.

Four Eateries

We have four eateries on site for you to choose from, from mouth-watering pizza at Mario’s Pizzeria to tasty meals at the Terrace Restaurant. This year we also have our New for 2024 Always Sundae, with locally sourced organic Cornish ice cream, from Roskilly’s Farm down the road. And, no holiday is complete without a classic fish and chip takeaway,  available on the site from our very own, Fish and Chip shop.

Nightly Entertainment!

In the early evening we have exciting entertainment for children featuring our lovable Henry and Henrietta Hippo, and dancing and party games. In the late evening, adults can enjoy our unmissable cabaret performances, comedy, live music, magic and spectacular performances from Star Acts. Brand new for 2024, is Palm Beach Adventure Golf. Can you get your ball around the surf boards, under the Hendra sign, or through the tunnel? With 9 holes available, and 9 fun obstacles, this activity is great fun for all of the family and friends.

Play Indoors

Henry’s Playloft, is our amazing indoor soft play, with baby soft play area, with building blocks and wall activity stations, and for older kids there’s a ball pool, slide, climbing areas, rollers, and more!

Parents and carers will be able to sit back and relax, with our seating area, with refreshments available, and wi-fi – a great chance to recharge while the kids play!

Our quiet hour in the Playloft is for children who have different needs and prefer a more peaceful play experience with no music and reduced numbers. There is no need to book and the sessions take place on the on Tuesdays, 1.30pm until 2.30pm and on Thursdays from 4pm – 5pm.

This play area is for kids up to the age of 10.

Play Outdoors

We have our fun pirate ship for older children, with a slide, climbing areas and lots of opportunities to pretend to be a pirate!

Then there’s our park for younger kids, right next to the pirate ship, a play frame for younger ones, small boat for littles and tots, and swings for toddlers and older ones!

We also have our traversing climbing wall.

The Games Room

New for 2024, Games Room. Situated in the newly renovated Piggery, our over 200 year old former Piggery when Hendra was a Farm, is our games room!

With the two pool tables and an air hockey table, this is the perfect place for older kids and teens!

Evenings at The Deck Bar

In the school holidays we have brilliant live acts at the Deck Bar. A great place to enjoy those long summer evenings, the Deck bar has plenty of seating, both undercover and outside. There’s a bar on the Deck, and it is right next to the Fish and Chip Shop, Mario’s and the Play Park, so you can takeaway food and enjoy live entertainment, and the kids will love playing nearby.

Skate and Scooter Park

An off-road area for children to go and ride their scooters, or skate boards, with ramps. This place will definitely burn off some of that endless energy!

Our Free Land Train around the Park!

The Hendra Land Train sets off every morning from the Train Station for a tour of the park! Join Henry or Henrietta Hippo on board for the free morning tour and discover more about Hendra from the on-board commentary. The train is located in the lane adjacent to the Skate and Scooter park.

The Free Newquay Land Train

The Newquay Land Train is free to all Hendra Guests, and leaves Hendra each day at 9.15, and comes back from Newquay at 4.15. The perfect way to get into Newquay, and explore the town with independent shops, great restaurants and cafes, as well as surf boutiques for some retail therapy. And, of course, Newquay’s beaches and idyllic harbour.

Activities on Park

Hendra has a variety of exciting activities on park for all ages! Take part in our Nature Explorers, Segway tours*, Hendra mini 4x4s*, dancing, arts, crafts, events and visits from local attractions! Don’t forget to meet our friends Henry and Henrietta Hippo while you’re here too!

Amusement Arcades

The arcade next to the Terrace Bar and Restaurant and the one next to Always Sundae, are open throughout the day, with the one at The Venue being open only in the evenings.

There’s a range of games, from everyone’s favourite 2p pushers, grabbers, VR style games, driving games, shooting games, and fruit machines.

The Terrace Bar and Restaurant

The Terrace Bar and Restaurant is open all day, serving brilliant breakfasts, lovely lunches and divine dinners.

Recently refurbished, in 2023, The Terrace Bar and Restaurant is the place to be, for relaxed vibes, tasty food, barista coffee, and a fully stocked bar. Enjoy our outside pool Terrace too.

Always Sundae

It’s Always Sundae, when on holiday at Hendra! NEW for 2024 we have our delicious ice cream shop. Serving creamy and organic Cornish Ice Cream, from Roskilly’s Farm, just down the road from Hendra.

Mario's Pizzeria

Eat in or takeaway as the mouth-watering Mario’s Pizzeria. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to toppings, from Margarita and meat options as well as something for all, there’s also Vegetarian and Vegan options.

Fish and Chip Takeaway

There’s nothing like fish and chips, especially on a seaside holiday! Visit Hendra’s very own award-winning Fish and Chip takeaway. Located next to Mario’s, it shares the sheltered terrace outside for ‘al fresco’ dining.

Wi-Fi

You can keep in touch on social media or with emails, you can even post your holiday snaps on our guestbook. There is free Wi-Fi in the Terrace Bar and Restaurant, in Henry’s Playloft and on the Pool Terrace. There is also paid Wi-Fi available across the Park in caravan holiday homes, excluding Maple field. Meadows Lodges have free Wi-Fi included. There is no Wi-Fi in the touring and camping fields.

Award-Winning Toilet and Shower Blocks

Our shower and toilet facilities for touring and camping guests have been rated Platinum by the ‘Loo of the Year’ Awards! Located across the park, you will also find washing up facilities, clean water points, waste water drainage, rubbish disposal and recycling areas.

Launderette

The on-site launderette has card operated washing machines and tumble driers, if you need to do some laundry whilst on holiday. Non-bio Comfort is dispensed.

The Hendra Market Place

The Market Place is open daily, stocking a wide range of holiday essentials, including freshly baked bread, savouries, pastries, tinned food, milk, eggs, tea, coffee, toiletries, toys, souvenirs and a range of your favourite drinks from the likes of St Austell Brewery and Tarquin’s. Stock up on a range of Cornish food and drink to enjoy while you’re here or to take home!
