Oasis Fun Pools at Hendra

Oasis Indoor Pool is open from the end of March until the end of November. In 2025 this is from 31st of March until the 2nd of November. It is open from 10am – 6pm, earlier for Hendra guests during the peak-times. During off-peak times the pool times may vary, please check the boards or call us on 01637 875778.

The Outdoor Pool is open from the end of May until the end of August, weather permitting.

Indoor Pool Ratios

• 0-3 years old: 1 dedicated adult swimmer to 1 child
• 4-8 years old: 1 dedicated adult swimmer to 2 children
• 9-13 years old: 1 dedicated adult swimmer to 5 children

Please note: Glasses are not permitted on the slides or river rapids.

Outdoor Pool Ratios

1 adult to 2 children under 9 years or 2 non-swimmers of any age.  Supervising adults must be 16 years old or above and should be in the water with their children/non-swimmers at all times. The outdoor pool is heated and free.

There is a £4.35 charge for the indoor pool for guests – but you can SAVE by booking pool vouchers in advance, ask our bookings team for more details. One voucher gets one person in for one session. Non-residents pay full tariff charge. *For Hendra guests with membership (entertainment) passes.

The Outdoor Pool is free, and open from the end of May until the end of August.

Yes. We advise that you book in advance for the indoor pool. For the outdoor pool you can just turn up. You must have membership passes.

Baby Pool is 30’C plus going into our Main Pool with a temperature of 29’C. Slides pool and River Rapids 28’C plus. The Outdoor Pool is around 24’C, depending on the outdoor temperature.

Flumes

For safety reasons use of the flumes is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1.2 metres in height, there are also weight restrictions.  Use of the River Rapid Ride is restricted to competent swimmers and those over 1.2 metres in height.  On the blue rubber ring, super flume, there are weight restrictions for safety reasons. Maximum weight is 15 stone and 7lb, or 100kg.

You can in the main pool, but we prefer a rash vest. You are only allowed a t-shirt in the main pool, not on the flumes, and the rapids.

Yes, children must be over 1.2m, and be a competent swimmer without a buoyancy aid to go in the rapids pool and use the flumes. Children with a floating device can go down the green slide accompanied by an adult.

Yes you can, however there are limited spaces in the designated pushchair park zone. Please be aware that you cannot leave your child in the pushchair at any time.

he lockers accept £1 coins, which you get back after use. Alternatively, you can get a token, if available, from Reception. Please note Hendra is card only payments.

All babies and toddlers must wear a swim nappy, if they are not fully potty trained. Please be aware that any accident in the pool can possibly result of an evacuation of the pool. Nappies are available in Reception to buy.

Children can swim without adults if they are over 13.

9-13 year olds will be asked to complete a competent swim test on entry, to assure our team that the swimmers are comfortable and competent to be in the water without an adult. However, there must be a responsible adult present in the facilities, unless they are 16 years of age.

We do allow spectators to bring a beverage into the pool hall that can be purposed from our Terrace Bar/Restaurant. Please ask for take away.

Buoyancy aids are allowed but snorkels, fins, mermaid suits and big inflatables are not.

If you need to change your swimming session please email oasis@hendra-holidays.com. All changes must be made 24 hours or more before your session, we cannot move sessions if it is less than 24 hours before it is booked. It is subject to availability. Day guests cannot change their booking.

Oasis has great changing facilities, and really friendly staff, who are happy to help in any way that they can. There is also free parking. The Pool is accessible for wheelchair users, and staff are always happy to assist.
