Accessibility and Inclusivity

Accessibility and Inclusivity

We’re committed to providing a fantastic family experience for all. Making our holidays accessible for everyone is something that we take pride in and are always looking for new ways to adapt and develop. Our staff are always happy to help in any way they can. We know that disabilities are not always visible, and we are here to make sure you feel supported.

Please view our full accessibility and inclusivity guide to Hendra Holiday Park here.

If you have any questions at all regarding access and what access can be made available to you please don’t hesitate to contact us via 01637 875788 or by emailing bookings@hendra-holidays.com.

Level Access

There is level or ramp access to all facilities across the park. The main facilities are situated on a small slope, however each of the facilities can be accessed via steps, or a ramp. When dining at any of our restaurants, there is the option to sit in the large seating areas outside, or inside the restaurant. Double doors or conservatory sliding doors can also be used to access the main restaurant The Terrace Bar and Restaurant. Once inside our holiday home accommodation (accessed via steps or a ramp) all rooms are on level access.

Accommodation

We have fitted ramp access to a number of Godrevy  and Mawgan  holiday homes and also the Kynance holiday home to make accessing the accommodation that little bit easier. Those that have ramps fitted are situated in areas of the park that are closest to the main facilities. All accommodation gets allocated on arrival, so please do let us know prior to arrival if you require ramp access or to be closer to the main facilities this way we can ensure you are allocated the best holiday home to suit you.

Visual

Each guest gets handed a Welcome Guide on arrival as part of their welcome pack, this guide is also available in large print. We also have menus available in large print, or they can be downloaded via our website for those that prefer to view them on their devices. We also have entertainment guides and activity guides that can be accessed via download from our website, designed to help you plan your stay in advance and familiarise yourself with what to expect ahead of your holiday.

Alternatively they can be viewed on site via our large blue entertainment boards situated in three areas across the park.

What to expect
To help you feel comfortable about your upcoming stay with us, we’ve prepared a page which details ‘what to expect’ on your Hendra Holiday. Including photographs and tours of the facilities and downloadable guides.

To cater for all food allergens and intolerances we’ve created a Hendra Food and Drink App – which you can download direct to your mobile device detailing exactly what’s in each meal in our food outlets.  We’ve also created a separate gluten-free menu which can be accessed via our website or on arrival at The Terrace Restaurant.
