Oasis Fun Pools

The Oasis Indoor Fun Pools is one of the largest indoor fun pools in the South West, with 3 flumes, including the gentle green one, the rubber ring blue, and the rapid red tube! Also indoors there’s a baby and toddler pool, and a toddler slide, as well a geyser and giant tap!

Oasis Fun Pools Outdoor Pool

Our beautiful, heated, outside pool is open from the end of May until the end of August. With sun loungers, a snack shack (open on selected dates), and amazing pools to cool off in the Cornish sun, our Oasis Outdoor Pools are the perfect way to spend an idle holiday day. It is fully life guarded too.

Palm Beach Adventure Golf

Palm Beach Adventure Golf was new in 2024. Can you get your ball around the surf boards, under the Hendra sign, or through the tunnel? With 9 holes available, and 9 fun obstacles, this activity is great fun for all of the family and friends

Outdoor Play Areas

We have our fun pirate ship for older children, with a slide, climbing areas and lots of opportunities to pretend to be a pirate!

Then there’s our park for younger kids, right next to the pirate ship, a play frame for younger ones, small boat for littles and tots, and swings for toddlers and older ones! Then there’s the skate and scooter park, and  new last year for kids aged 8 and upwards, our Ninja Assault Course: can you beat the clock?

 

Play Indoors

Henry’s Playloft offers indoor soft play for kids up to 10, with a baby area, ball pool, slide, and more!

Parents can relax with refreshments and Wi-Fi.

There’s our indoor games room too, with air hockey and pool, as well as arcades.

Quiet hour runs Tuesdays (1:30-2:30 pm) and Thursdays (4-5 pm) for a calmer play experience – no booking needed.

Eat, Drink, Enjoy

We have four eateries on site for you to choose from. The Beach House: Bar and Restaurant, offers mouth-watering, handcrafted pizzas, and tasty cocktails. We have the Terrace Bar and Restaurant, for hearty breakfasts, light lunches and delicious dinners. For your sweet tooth there’s Always Sundae, with locally sourced organic Cornish ice cream, from Roskilly’s Farm down the road. And, no holiday is complete without a classic fish and chip takeaway,  available on the site from our very own, Fish and Chip shop.

Nightly Entertainment!

In the early evening we have exciting entertainment for children featuring our lovable Henry and Henrietta Hippo, and dancing and party games. In the late evening, adults can enjoy our unmissable cabaret performances, comedy, live music, magic and spectacular performances from Star Acts. Evenings at The Deck Bar

In the school holidays we have brilliant live acts at the Deck Bar, which has been refurbished and extended for 2025. A great place to enjoy those long summer evenings, the Deck bar has plenty of seating, both undercover and outside (peak-times only). There’s a bar on the Deck, and it is right next to the Fish and Chip Shop, The Beach House and the Play Park, so you can takeaway food and enjoy live entertainment, and the kids will love playing nearby.

Hendra has a variety of exciting activities on park for all ages! Take part in our Nature Explorers, Segway tours*, Hendra mini 4x4s*, dancing, arts, crafts, events and visits from local attractions! Don’t forget to meet our friends Henry and Henrietta Hippo while you’re here too!

Getting Around

 

  • The Hendra Land Train just takes guests around the Park each morning at 9am, with one of our hippo mascots, Henry and Henrietta. Expect fun and mischief!
  • Bus Stop the bus stop is right outside the park and to the left as you walk up, with buses into Newquay.
  • Beryl Bikes are available also outside the park to the left. Download the app and get cycling.
  • Car – we are on the A392 where the A30 and the rest of Cornwall is easily accessible from Hendra.
  • Walking – there’s no better time to walk to places than now, with the new road which cuts down to Nansleden, which has a selection of shops from clothes to homewares, as well as cafes, bakeries and a bar.

 

 

Essentials at Hendra Holiday Park

Wi-Fi

You can keep in touch on social media or with emails, you can even post your holiday snaps on our guestbook. There is free Wi-Fi in the Terrace Bar and Restaurant, in Henry’s Playloft and on the Pool Terrace. There is also paid Wi-Fi available across the Park in caravan holiday homes, excluding Maple field. Meadows Lodges have free Wi-Fi included. There is no Wi-Fi in the touring and camping fields.

Launderette

The on-site launderette has card operated washing machines and tumble driers, if you need to do some laundry whilst on holiday. Non-bio Comfort is dispensed.

The Market Place

The Market Place is open daily, stocking a wide range of holiday essentials, including freshly baked bread, savouries, pastries, tinned food, milk, eggs, tea, coffee, toiletries, toys, souvenirs and a range of your favourite drinks from the likes of St Austell Brewery and Tarquin’s. Stock up on a range of Cornish food and drink to enjoy while you’re here or to take home!
