Newquay Fish Festival

9th – 11th September

Enjoy Newquay Harbour at it’s finest with Newquay Beach Festival… try fresh seafood from local fishermen, book a marine wildlife boat trip, and take part in activities and demonstrations. There will be plenty of food & drink stalls from local vendors and a beer tent so you can relax right on the beach. This is the perfect weekend to experience Cornish culture.

Little Orchard Festival at Healey’s Cyder Farm

9th – 11th September

Local cider and music… what more could you want? Healey’s Cyder Farm in Truro is home to the famous Rattler Cyder, made locally here in Cornwall, and this annual festival is the perfect way to try it. While you’re here, explore the farm and see how it’s made, with tours, tractor rides and tastings! Redruth International Mining and Pasty Festival

10th September

St Ives September Festival 2022

10th – 24th September

St Ives September Festival is a two week celebration of music and the arts across a range of venues in this beautiful seaside destination. Enjoy live music and performances, attend workshops with local artists and writers, and explore the streets, filled with live entertainment and stalls to browse to your heart’s content. Free Entry to Trerice House Newquay

15th September

To celebrate Heritage Day, you can get free entry to Trerice House in Newquay for one day only. Explore the house and gardens, have tea and cake in the cafe, and explore the second hand bookshop. Trerice is only a short drive from Hendra Holiday Park, and makes for an ideal way to see some local history and beautiful views across the local countryside.

Newquay Beer Festival at Hendra Holiday Park

23rd – 26th September

Newquay Beer Festival is back! This charity run event is held right here in the grounds of Hendra Holiday Park, so you won’t have to travel far afterwards! Wander down to the bustling marquee full of locally brewed ales and ciders, and plenty of live music to get you up and dancing! Rockpooling on Durgan Beach on the Helford River

25th September

Hosted by the Falmouth Marine Conservation Group, this free event lets you explore the amazing rockpools of Durgan Beach. Bring your bucket, spade and fishing net and dress to get wet! Cornwall’s rocky coastline makes for the ideal place to try rockpooling for the first time. Let the little ones get their hands dirty as they explore the beach while reconnecting with nature.
