This May Half Term in Cornwall, explore Newquay like never before! With your phone in hand, visit each of the storypoints in order, scan the QR codes to collect digital stamps, learn more of the Jubilee story and take selfies with some AR characters!

2. Bodmin Jail’s Queen’s Jubilee Activities (Bodmin)

Take part in their Queen’s Jubilee Victory guided tour at Bodmin Jail, before attending High Tea in the Victorian courtyard to celebrate the reign of Her Majesty Elizabeth II on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th June 2022. Everyone will be communally seated on long tables with tasty sandwiches served to you! They are also hosting an 18+ Tea and Tarot event from 3rd June – 5th June 2022 for the braver visitor! Flambards theme park has an exciting entertainment schedule for May half term, beginning with the Billy Wiz Magic Show on Tuesday 31st May and continuing with Flambards’ famous Creepy Crawly Show which will be staged on Thursday 2nd June. You can also take part in their magical Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 4th June, with crown making and a giant picnic in the park, with park mascots Ferdi the Fox and Flora the Chipmunk.

4. Wild Week at the Lost Gardens of Heligan (St Austell)

Explore these magical hidden gardens this May half term!

From Sat 28th May – Sunday 5th June, Wild Week is back. rediscover your wild side, to restore your survival skills and to enjoy a week of creative outdoor play. Start your adventure by exploring the Giants Head play trail and follow the route to East Lawn. Take part in face painting, axe throwing, survival skills… go on a bug hunt or clamber around the wild outdoor play area! If you’re feeling brave, head to the feasting tent and try their Cricket Cheesecake and Insect Canapés, if you dare!

5. Medieval Tournaments and Pendennis Castle (Falmouth)

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by going back in time!

Experience the action of royal times gone by, as rival knights compete in the ultimate test of strength and skill at Pendennis Castle’s Knights’ Tournament! Watch the thrilling sword fight, and immerse yourself in medieval life in the encampment, where you can meet people from the Middle Ages and witness life at camp – this is a great day out for all the family!

6. Half Term week at the Eden Project (Par)

Celebrate nature with fun and games this May half term!

A week-long celebration of nature, bees and communities, ending with Eden’s Big Lunch to celebrate the Jubilee! Experience special shows all week with CBBC Blue Peter Gardener Lee Connelly with family fun games and the chance to win prizes. Follow the Create a Buzz Pollination Trail, listen to live music in the biomes, take part in pollination games, arts and crafts, and much more! The Eden Project has plenty to do this May half term for all the family.

7. Camel Creek Circus Week (Wadebridge)

Unleash your inner performer!

Camel Creek at Wadebridge has plenty planned for May half term! Enjoy the mesmerising circus acts performing tricks and stunts throughout the park, or have a go yourself and find a new talent! Ride a unicycle or have a go at juggling in interactive workshops, before enjoying the fun of Camel Creek’s exhilarating rides! This is a fantastic day out with plenty of activities for little ones. 8. Wheal Martin’s Alice in Wonderland Tea Party (St Austell)

Channel your inner Queen or King with this magical tea party!

To celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Wheal Martin Clay Works St Austell are hosting a royal fun tea party on the café terrace. They are encouraging you to dress up as your favourite Alice in Wonderland characters so you look the part! Head off on the outdoor trail, take royal photos at the different locations and win on the tombola, before taking part in arts and crafts, like decorate your own cup or crown!

9. Spring on the Farm at Healey’s Cyder Farm (Truro)

Make the most of spring with cute farm animals!

From the 28th of May through to the 5th of June, Healey’s Cyder Farm in Truro will be running special springtime activities, including tractor rides, kids juice pressing, story-time in the animal area, and regular tours of the brewery! They are also hosting a Jubilee High Tea for two for those of you looking for a royally romantic treat. This is a perfect day out for all ages, and if you book online, you get 20% off admission!

10. Half Term Activities at Hendra Holiday Park! (Newquay)

And if you’re feeling hungry after all of that excitement, try our brand new menu in the Terrace Bar and Restaurant, with delicious weekly specials! Or perhaps grab fish and chips takeaway, or an Italian style pizza from Mario’s Pizzeria, now doing delivery to your caravan!
