2. Bodmin Jail’s Queen’s Jubilee Activities (Bodmin)

Take part in their Queen’s Jubilee Victory guided tour at Bodmin Jail, before attending High Tea in the Victorian courtyard to celebrate the reign of Her Majesty Elizabeth II on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th June 2022. Everyone will be communally seated on long tables with tasty sandwiches served to you! They are also hosting an 18+ Tea and Tarot event from 3rd June – 5th June 2022 for the braver visitor! Flambards theme park has an exciting entertainment schedule for May half term, beginning with the Billy Wiz Magic Show on Tuesday 31st May and continuing with Flambards’ famous Creepy Crawly Show which will be staged on Thursday 2nd June. You can also take part in their magical Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 4th June, with crown making and a giant picnic in the park, with park mascots Ferdi the Fox and Flora the Chipmunk.

To celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Wheal Martin Clay Works St Austell are hosting a royal fun tea party on the café terrace. They are encouraging you to dress up as your favourite Alice in Wonderland characters so you look the part! Head off on the outdoor trail, take royal photos at the different locations and win on the tombola, before taking part in arts and crafts, like decorate your own cup or crown!

And if you’re feeling hungry after all of that excitement, try our brand new menu in the Terrace Bar and Restaurant, with delicious weekly specials! Or perhaps grab fish and chips takeaway, or an Italian style pizza from Mario’s Pizzeria, now doing delivery to your caravan!
