- Towan – in the centre of town, Towan is perfect for those who want to go to Newquay and the beach in one day.
- Great Western – the original surfing beach, Great Western has high cliffs, and good facilities.
- Tolcarne – a private beach, Tolcarne has a cafe, restaurant, shop and toilets.
- Lusty Glaze – another privately owned beach. Sheltered in a horse shoe cove. Lusty has great facilities and events on throughout the season.
- Porth – popular with families, Porth is great for exploration and calmer waters.
