Autumn, Beer, Festival, fun, Newquay, September,

Beer Festival at Hendra Holiday Park, Newquay The Newquay Beer Festival will be returning to Hendra Holiday Park this September. Held by the Newquay Lions, it takes place from the 20th – 22nd of September. This year there is an even bigger marquee and even more beers and ciders to choose from.  Hurrah!

Beers and Ciders

Beer and cider enthusiasts will be well-accommodated, with over 50 beers and 50 ciders to choose from! The beers are brewed all over the UK. You can sample a Splendid Tackle, Thieving Rogue, Inspector Remorse, or a Lemon Dream – to name a few. Ciders available include Pixie Juice, Merry Legs, Unshaven Maiden, or an aptly named 6% Wobbler!

Live Music

There’s live music on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A great opportunity to see some awesome local music acts.  Popular party band The Qwest are playing on the Friday. Chancer is a four-piece rock band, sure to get your feet stomping on a Saturday night. Ami-Louise will be playing her guitar on Sunday afternoon. Daisy Clark is also playing on the Sunday, a much sought after act on the South West music scene. Daisy is a singer song-writer from Newquay and she is known for her distinctive voice and style.

You can also book a pitch and tickets via the Newquay Beer Festival website.

Charity Event

This is a charity event and lots of businesses from the local community sponsor the festival. So far, the festival has raised over £40,000 since it started in 2013. All artists play free of charge – so a big shout out to them.

The festival is held at Hendra because it promotes a safe and responsible drinking environment.
