Porth Beach in NewquayDay 1 – Porth Beach

Morning

Wake up and ride the Hendra Land Train, complete with our hippo mascots Henry and Henrietta! Got older children? Let them burn off some energy on the Ninja Assault Course (ages 8+), or take a refreshing dip in our heated outdoor pool.

Afternoon
Pack a picnic and head to Porth Beach. With calm waters, soft sand and rock pools to explore, it’s a relaxing spot for the whole family. Paddle in the shallows, explore the rocks or enjoy a gentle seaside stroll.
Head back to your caravan for dinner, then finish the evening with a live music act at The Deck Bar.

Day 2 – Towan & Great Western Beaches

Morning

Start the day at Oasis Fun Pool, one of the South West’s biggest indoor fun pools, with three amazing flumes and river rapids. Hendra guests can enjoy splash‑tastic fun from under £5 per person.

Afternoon

Head into the heart of Newquay for a classic double‑beach afternoon. Spend time at Towan Beach, beneath the town, with its golden sand and iconic island views. At low tide, stroll across to Great Western Beach for paddling, sandcastle building and traditional seaside fun – all within easy walking distance.
Return to the park for some hippo fun in The Venue, bingo or live entertainment – guaranteed smiles all round.

Day 3 – Fistral Beach Fistral Beach

Morning

Make the most of everything included in your stay:
the giant pirate ship, younger children’s play areas, Henry’s Playloft, soft play, skate and scooter park, plus the Ninja Assault Course.

Afternoon

Head to Fistral Beach. Watch the surfers, enjoy a coastal walk or grab a takeaway coffee and soak up those Atlantic views – the perfect Newquay send‑off.
Back on park, enjoy a relaxed evening and perhaps treat yourselves to a fish and chip takeaway, all available on site at Hendra.

Day 4 – Lusty Glaze Beach (if staying 4 nights)

Morning

Enjoy your favourite Hendra activities one last time before heading out.

Afternoon

End your trip at Lusty Glaze, a tucked‑away cove with a relaxed, sheltered feel. Scenic and peaceful, it’s ideal for a final beach wander before the journey home.
