Easter at Lappa Valley – Cornwall’s Secret World of Play and Trains
Nestled in a Cornish Valley, just minutes away from Hendra, Lappa Valley is a nostalgic attraction, full of fun. This Easter there is even more magic. A special visitor from one of the most beloved children’s shows is on the way, bringing a little extra joy to a day out in the Cornish countryside this Easter holidays. Bluey is going to be visiting Lappa Valley on the 11th and 12th April 2026! She’ll be appearing at intervals throughout the day, so get some photos.
Lappa Valley has a multi-level soft play, mini golf, outdoor play and trails, pedel swan boats and of course trains.

Eden Project – Easter Adventures
The Eden Project is one of Cornwall’s most iconic and original days out. In the heart of Cornwall, in a former clay pit, the Eden Project is an attraction like no other. Two giant Biomes house plants from around the world. Explore the world in these exotic Biomes, from the rainforest to the Mediterranean. Learn about conservation, and play in the giant Tree House. This Easter enjoy hunting for the dragon eggs, and become a dragon guardian this Easter at the Eden Project! Celebrate spring with an immersive dragon egg trail, creative workshops and family activities.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan – see spring coming to life
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are one of Cornwall’s favourite attractions, whatever your age. With acres of gardens to explore, from woodland, pleasure gardens, productive gardens, and even its very own jungle, complete with a Burmese rope bridge: get ready for a real Easter adventure in Cornwall this Easter. See farm animals and enjoy the large outdoor play area, with jumping pillows, where kids can burn off their spring energy.
Easter Fun at Healeys Cyder Farm
Enjoy a festive Easter day out at Healeys Cyder Farm, a popular family attraction just a short drive from Hendra Holiday Park.
From 3rd–19th April, families can enjoy Easter Story Time at 11am and 2pm, followed by the much‑loved Easter Egg Trail, where you can explore the farm, spot hidden eggs and collect a tasty Easter treat. The trail is included with both the Self‑Guided Tour and Healeys Guided Tour.
There are also two daily guided tours, tractor rides running all day, and for grown‑ups, a Tresor Wine Tasting at 2:30pm daily — a lovely way to round off an Easter visit.
A great choice for an Easter day out in Cornwall, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Easter in Newquay
Newquay has a range of egg-citing Easter events on. Head to the Killacourt, looking over Newquay’s stunning bay, and enjoy the Easter Egg-stravaganza: all free on the 4th of April. This fun‑filled day at the Killacourt has activities running from 10am–4pm! Follow the Easter trail around the lawns, enjoy FREE children’s fairground rides, face painting, and relaxed garden games. Throughout the day, families can also dip in and out of timed activities, including a lively Easter egg hunt with a tasty prize for every child from 11.15am, storytelling sessions in the Bandstand between 11am and 1pm, and a high‑energy children’s disco from 2pm–4pm. It’s a full day of springtime excitement for all ages, whilst you can enjoy the view of Newquay Bay.
Sand, Sea and Spring in Newquay
In spring, Newquay’s coastline is special. The milder Cornish climate brings early sunshine, longer days, and the first bursts of colour along the clifftops. Wander towards iconic spots like Pentire Headland, Crantock, Fistral or Porth Island, and see sea pinks and spring squill. Spring sees some perfect weather, which is ideal for exploring sweeping sandy beaches.
