As we prepare for our Christmas break, we wanted to go behind the scenes and show you how the team at Hendra are celebrating! From gardeners and maintenance to the hospitality and office staff, everyone is looking forward to spending some time with their families after a busy season!
Before we finished work for the holidays, we managed to have a Christmas jumper day in the offices! The bookings team, marketing staff, managers and directors all took part in a festive day of fun (and work!). Which do you think is best?
We think the Santa and Advent Calendar jumpers are clear winners!
As a well-earned treat, Henry and Henrietta have been busy baking festive treats for all the Hendra staff to say thank you for an amazing season! They’re so excited to see you all again next year and wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Elsewhere, Henry Hippo has been helping out our local food bank, by dropping off a £1000 cheque and food donations from Hendra. Lots of families struggle at Christmas, and we wanted to give something back to our local community. After all, family is at the heart of everything we do. We hope our donations will bring some joy to those in need this Christmas.

When all of you lovely people have gone home for the winter season, Cornwall can feel very different! But one thing that doesn’t change is how beautiful our coast is. With all the beautiful lights and wintery sunsets, Newquay shines in the winter. Take a look for yourself:
The town has been filled with festivities as the locals get ready for Christmas. From Christmas lights in the high street to the courageous surfers and swimmers braving the icy water, we’re well and truly getting into the Christmas spirit down here!
