Dogs go free on a touring pitch for the weeks commencing 4th May 2019 and 28th September 2019.
Hendra is still on cloud nine after being crowned Winner of Winners at last Thursday’s Cornwall Tourism Awards (CTA). Hendra also was awarded Golds for Sustainable Tourism and Holiday Parks, and a silver for Caravan and Camping.
After 6 months of judging and visiting 125 businesses, the winners were announced at The Headland Hotel, Newquay. The awards are now in their 15th year with 25 award categories.
There was an entertaining presentation from Sir Tim Rice, lyricist and cricket enthusiast, along with a delicious meal.
It has been a fantastic year for Hendra as we have also saw Gold awards for our 5 Star rating and AA 5 Pennant grading and a Gold for South West in Bloom. We are certainly closing the 2016 season in style!
Jon Hyatt, director said ‘Needless to say we are more than delighted with winning two golds and a silver, and then the Winner of Winner award! These awards are a massive boost for us as we look forward to celebrating 45 years in business in 2017. As the largest park in the county, accommodating around four thousand guests a night in peak season, we have to work incredibly hard to make sure all our services and amenities are delivered at five-star level every single day. Without the dedication of every member of Hendra’s staff we could not have achieved this, so this is a magnificent reward for all the hard work all the teams at Hendra have put in to deliver the best holiday experience possible to guests.’
We are now closed until March the 31st, but there is still plenty going on including the arrival of sixty new static caravans.
As always we are thankful to our brilliant guests too, who keep coming back to Hendra and offering us feedback and encouragement to keep giving you a fabulous holiday in Cornwall.
