What you need to know

Update 20th July

We have contacted all guests that are arriving soon with our latest procedures. All facilities are now open, though you do have to book for some of these. We will update you on this prior to your arrival. As throughout the country, the hospitality sector and supply chain remains subject to service disruption through staff protection and isolation procedures. Whilst our team is striving to provide the best and most consistent service possible, we ask for your understanding and patience during this difficult time as facility and service availability is likely to change at short notice, along with opening times, menu choice and product availability.

Update 6th July 
We’re still processing tonight’s announcement from the government and will review what this means for us. Once we have worked out how this will work for our facilities here at Hendra we will update you all. All guests due to stay with us over the coming weeks will be emailed with full information on what to expect for their holiday.

Update 15th June 
Following the government announcement, we are continuing to run all facilities at a reduced capacity with social distancing in place throughout. Face coverings will still be required in all public indoor areas. We have also contacted all bookings due to arrive within the next 4-weeks to discuss whether or not their holiday has been affected.

Update 11th June 
Whilst all our facilities are open – they are running at a reduced capacity with social distancing and the 2-meter rule in place throughout. We are currently awaiting a further government announcement to see if any restrictions will be lifted. Once we have looked through all the guidance we will be in contact with any guests due to stay with us over the next few weeks if there are any updates or changes to our procedures.  If you have a holiday booked with us over the next few weeks and want to know if the government update will affect your holiday, please do not contact us as we will be in contact with you via email.

Update February 25th 
All guests due to stay with us from 12th April – 16th May will receive an email update from us by the end of the week regarding their holiday.

Update February 24th

We know you’ve all been waiting patiently for us to update you on what will be available on the park for those that are due to stay with us in the coming months. For those that were due to stay with us from 26th March to the 12th April, you should have now all received email communication from us giving you a few options to chose from. Our bookings team are working their way through these response as quickly as they can.

For those of you that are due to stay with us from the 12th April – 16th May you will probably already know that there will be some reduced facilities during your stay. As per the Government’s announcement to the roadmap out of lockdown, which means that we can only accept self-catered accommodation such as holiday home bookings and self-contained touring or motorhome units, so unfortunately we cannot accept camping, pod or non self-contained touring or motorhome units until the 17th May at least. We hope to contact every affected guest during this period by the end of the week explaining any options available to them.

Our Oasis Fun Pool will also have to remain closed for this period, along with our indoor entertainment venue and soft play. We hope to open all of these again as soon as the government say that it is safe for us to do so. In the meantime though, we will be able to open our bars and restaurants for outdoor dining and we will be operating our delivery service for Marios Pizzeria and also takeaway service for the Fish and Chip Shop and the Terrace Restaurant.

As you can imagine our phone lines are super busy at the moment, so if you have a booking with us from 12th April – 16th May and are trying to get in contact, please await an email from us as we will be emailing all guests to give you an update about your booking.

Update February 22rd

All guests that were due to stay with us up until 12th April will have received an email with regards to rearranging or cancelling their holidays. Our teams are now working through these responses and will respond as quickly as possible, thank you for your patience.
If you are due to stay with us between 12th April and 17th of May you will receive an email from us over the next few days.

Update February 22nd 5:30pm 

Wow, what a year it is turning out to be!

We very much hope that we can open on 12th April, and we absolutely cannot wait to welcome you all! Of course, with government restrictions and social distancing rules. We are now waiting on further clarification about our opening date from the government so once we have this we will update you further.

We are also still working out what this will mean for all our facilities so we will take a few days to process this information and then update any guests that may have their holidays affected by this.

As you can imagine the phone lines are super busy at this time, and there is only a very small team to answer the phones, so if you are calling regarding your upcoming booking, please wait as we will contact you with an update.

For those of you that were due to stay with us from 29th March, we will be contacting you rearrange or cancel your bookings so please await an email from us in the new few days.

Update February 22nd 2021

Today the government are due to announce the roadmap out of lockdown and we will be tuning in to hear what they have to say. Once we have heard the news we will work out what this means for the park and our opening date. This may take us a day or two, so please bear with us. We will make sure we contact any guests that may be affected later in the week, so please wait for us to contact you.

If you have been trying to contact us today about your balance due on your upcoming holiday, don’t worry, you do not need to pay this until next week at the earliest.


Update January 2021

With the country in a national lockdown we wanted to let you know that we are busy behind the scenes preparing for when it is safe to open, hopefully at the end of March as normal. After such fantastic feedback from our guests who stayed with us last year, we will ensure we have the same level of covid safe and secure procedures in place for when you next holiday with us. Guests found our park to be super safe, giving them the chance to relax and unwind and take a break from what has become the norm.
