Update – 31st March

Firstly, we’d like to thank you for your patience. This has been and continues to be a difficult time for many.

Following the Government’s announcement on Monday 23rd March, we have reduced our Bookings Team to a minimal level and closed our phone lines to focus on the most urgent customer enquiries by email only.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team remains our top priority. In line with the latest travel guidance we have decided to further postpone our opening until Friday 1st May. We will keep this date under constant review and continue to act on the latest advice from the relevant authorities.

We understand that we have many guests that were due to arrive with us very soon, so we will be contacting these guests as a priority, first to explain the situation and then to discuss options available to them. Those that are due to stay with us in the coming months after 1st May will receive an update from us in due course. Please bear with us whilst we do this.

We really appreciate the support of our customers and the local community in this extremely difficult time. We have been a staple in the local community since 1972, as a local destination, attraction but also as a large employer, employing over 200 members of staff locally and also supporting many local suppliers and businesses. Please know that we intend to open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so, so we can get back to doing what we do best, supporting local staff, the Cornish economy and providing a memorable stay for our guests.

Our Bookings Team are extremely busy helping customers at this time. We thank you for your patience whilst we respond to messages and assist guests with their holiday plans.

We are monitoring the situation carefully and will provide an update if anything changes.

Stay safe, stay well, see you soon.
