Dogs are welcome at Hendra, but must be included in your booking as we only have a limited number of pitches where we allow dogs. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Please click here to read our pet policy.

A pitch to suit your needs.

We offer four different types of pitches at Hendra, from standard grassed pitches ideal for camping to premium hardstanding all-service pitches.  See below for a description of each:

Grand Premium Pitches - large landscaped hardstanding pitches with individual service bollards, providing water, electricity, lighting, TV point and waste water drainage.  These pitches also have purpose built car spaces and innovative awning pads. (Sorry, no dogs in these areas).

Super Pitches - landscaped hardstanding pitches with shared service bollards, providing water, electricity, lighting, TV point and waste water drainage.  These pitches have been improved for 2010 with the addition of innovative awning pads. (Sorry, no dogs in these areas).

Red Star Pitches - Grassed pitches with an electric hookup (240 volts AC via a standard 16 amp socket).  These pitches are available large (for tourers, large tents and motorhomes) and small (for standard family tents).

Standard Pitches - Good sized grassed pitches both large and small for green field camping.
