Time For Some Family Fun
As a family-run five star family caravan park in Newquay, Hendra knows a thing or two about what makes family-time special. That’s why we’re delighted to be able to tell you Cornwall's Family Camp Out is back to celebrate together-time!
Dig out the tent or pack up the caravan and bring the kids for two nights under the stars and family fun togetherness...Hendra's Family Camp Out is back from Friday 3rd September to Sunday 5th September 2010 so make sure the summer holidays go out with a bang!
A family of four is just £30!
Adults £10 and children £5 for both nights including all this…
A free Oasis Indoor Pool ticket for everyone, themed Pirate night, 'Cook your Own BBQ'*, real campfire, family games, stories and entertainment, train ride, and much more! The Campout entertainment programme takes place in the Campout Field and is exclusive to Campout guests, plus all the Hendra facilities and entertainment are available to enjoy as well!
The provisional event programme (To be Confirmed)
Friday 4th September
Themed Pirates night.
Campers can arrive anytime after 4pm to pitch up.
6.30pm - Hendra and Henrietta Hippo are on the landtrain to welcome campers and give train rides to guests.
Pirate fancy dress – prizes for best crew (family) and individuals - Facepainting.
7.00pm - Dairyland visit from Daisy and Boris.
7.30pm - Falconry Display.
8.00pm - Field Games (Welly Wanging etc).
9.00pm - Singalong with Anton and Jamie.
9.30pm - Storytelling with Pirate theme.
NB: No BBQ or Campfire on this night
Saturday 4th September
Daytime is free-time to enjoy the park, use the Oasis Pools or pop down to the beach or a local attraction**
6.00pm - Ride with Henry & Henrietta Hippo on the Landtrain.
7.00pm - BBQ and Campfire and visit from Blue Reef.
8.00pm - Family field games.
9.00pm - Singalong with Anton.
9.30pm - Story telling.
Sunday 5th September
No rush to pack up, the Campout field doesn’t close until 4pm! Enjoy the day on the Park, beach or at a local attraction**.

Electric Hook-up is available at additional cost and is in a different field please ask for details when booking.
*‘Cook your Own’ BBQ - Bring your own sausages and burgers to cook on the Hendra BBQ.

Please note: The Family Campout is open to families with children only and each pitch booking must include at least one adult with parental responsibility. To maintain the enjoyment of this family event Hendra reserve the right to refuse bookings we may regard as unsuitable for inclusion in the Campout.
