Hendra's Family Campout Programme

Here is a full rundown of the entertainment and events on at Hendra’s Family Campout!

Friday 8th June

6.30pm - Henry the Hippo welcomes everyone to the Campout and there will be rides on the Land Train

7.00pm - Face Painting, Circus Fun and Giant Games. Also, lighting of the fire pits - bring your own drinks.

7:30pm – A visit from Sammy the Seal (Blue Reef)

8.00pm - Family Welly Wanging competition.

8.30pm - Egg & Spoon race for all the family

Saturday 9th June

Daytime - Free time to enjoy the park, use the Oasis Fun Pools, pop down to the beach or visit a local attraction.

6.30pm - Henrietta Hippo visits and there will be rides on the Land Train.

6:30pm - DairyLand’s Daisy the Cow also visits.

7.00pm - Family ‘Cook-Your-Own BBQ’ ~ bring your sausages and burgers etc., to cook on the big Hendra BBQ, and marshmallow toasting.

7:30pm - Merlin’s crazy stilt walking, juggling with fire and loads more (as seen on Britain’s got talent)

8.00pm - Family Rounders

8.30pm - Talented acoustic guitar musician/vocalist for a late night jam!

Sunday 10th June

There is no rush to pack up; the Campout field doesn’t close until 4pm! Enjoy the day on the park, beach or local attraction.

We have just got back from our first family campout weekend+first stay with yourselves I just wanted to say it was GREAT a really lovely campsite+worth its 5*'s with helpful staff+excellent facilities. I came with my husband+3 children. The only downside was the weather which no one could do anything about. The wind on friday was awful. Thankfully 2 fellow campers came to our aid in putting the tent up+to stop it blowing away!!!! and then we had a flat battery on our car from inflating airbeds on the electric pump-our fault. I look forward to booking again next year if you do it again then.
