Cornwall is packed with exciting events all over the county this July. Here is a list of our top ten July highlights.
1. Port Eliot Festival – Near St Germans, 19th – 22nd of July
The Festival takes place on the glorious grounds of the Port Eliot estate, which is right by an estuary with a huge viaduct – an amazing sight. This is officially a literary festival, but has become a lot more than that over the last few years with something for everyone including fashion tents, food demonstrations, art and photography exhibitions, and music to name a few. This festival is known as a boutique festival because of its uniqueness; Jarvis Cocker says it is ‘a festival of ideas’. This year’s line up includes past Brit Award Winner Beth Orton, BAFTA-winning star of The Wire, The Hour and The Awakening Dominic West and Chef Nathan Outlaw.
