  It can be hard to know what to do first in Cornwall, with so many beaches, restaurants and attractions to choose from, so Newquay Holiday Tips has made it easier by doing their series on top tens! • Hendra is selected as one of the top 50 parks!

  Hendra has been selected as one of the top 50 parks across all of the UK by VW Camper and Bus magazine!

   

  

   

  We will also be appearing in VW Camper and Bus’s guidebook to top parks all over the UK, which will be available in WHSmith’s and supermarkets!

  We have been chosen because of our spacious pitches, and good toilet and shower facilities. Hendra would like to say a big thank you to VW Camper and Bus magazine!

• Ford Car Show Fun at Hendra

  If you are a classic car enthusiast then come to The Duchy Capri Club’s Classic Ford Show on the 24^th, 25^th and 26^th of June, held at Hendra Holiday Park. The event celebrates 100 years of Ford.

   

  The Show and Shine is on the Sunday, and there are trophies for the best pre and 60s Ford, 70s Ford, 80s Ford, 90s Ford and 2000s Ford and Best Club Stand.

   

  There’s lots to keep everyone entertained with trade stands for food, such as pasties and ice cream, games for children and an on site bar on Sunday. There are live bands including Gareth Moody’s chilled and acoustic set and Su Han Ryu’s demonstration of karate.

   

  

   

  You can camp at Hendra too for £6.50 a pitch and £9.50 for an electric hook-up. On Sunday entrance is £2 per person and under 14s are free.

   

  Finally, don't forget the event is being held in support of the Precious Lives Appeal too so you can enjoy a great day out whilst helping a charitable cause close to everyone's hearts here at Hendra. For more information visit www.joeway.co.uk

  Event Camping Hendra Ford Show and Shine Car Show

• Hendra Family Campout was a big success!

  This year’s Family Campout was a huge hit with over 160 bookings! We were blessed with good weather all weekend, perfect for family fun, games, and sleeping under the stars!

   

  Games included a family quiz, rounders and welly wanging (a competition to see who can throw their welly for furthest, don’t you know?!). There was also face painting and a big barbecue.

   

  

   

  Everyone really enjoyed themselves with our Facebook fans telling us they had a brilliant, lovely and amazing weekend, which was great value and well organised. We look forward to having a bigger and better family campout next year!
